Have your say on a new vision for Rochdale town centre with interactive consultation

Date published: 27 March 2022

You can have your say on a new vision for Rochdale town centre with a pop-up ‘Urban Room’ interactive consultation on Riverside walk.

From Wednesday 30 March to Saturday 2 April, a unit opposite Boots will play host to the consultation between 10am and 4pm each day, giving you the chance to put forward your ideas for positive change.

The vision is being co-produced by creative placemaking organisation We Are Local, Rochdale BID, Rochdale Development Agency, Rochdale Borough Council and CTConsults.

Residents are invited to explore the town through a series of different interactive activities using their senses to contribute ideas, engage in conversation, tell stories and share their visions of the town centre.

Imagine a future Rochdale: what do you hear? What are the tastes? What does it look like? How does it smell? What can you feel?

As many people as possible are invited to join in the conversation and feed into the research and help to make Rochdale town centre stronger and better for everyone.

If you’d like to get involved, but are unable to join We Are Local at the Urban Room, please get in touch and an alternative way for you to take part will be arranged.
