Rochdale-Blackpool walk raises £2,000 for local military veterans

A team of 12 – comprised of Rochdale AFC Military Veterans, Their4U Fundraising and Dale In The Community Sports Trust – completed the feat between the Crown Oil Arena and Blackpool Tower after 17 hours
A gruelling 45-mile walk from Rochdale to Blackpool last weekend has raised almost £2,000 for local military veterans.
A team of 12 – comprised of Rochdale AFC Military Veterans, Their4U Fundraising and Dale In The Community Sports Trust – completed the feat between the Crown Oil Arena and Blackpool Tower after 17 hours.
Funds raised will go towards engaging veterans in different groups, sports, activities, days out and even help for any emergency equipment needed.
Donations can still be made via GoFundMe.
