NCA colleagues awarded cutting edge fellowship

Date published: 22 March 2022

Six Northern Care Alliance colleagues have been awarded a highly regarded fellowship designed for emerging health systems leaders that are seeking to lead change and transform care.

Keeley Gibbons, Divisional Managing Director for Planned Care, Rochdale Care Organisation, and five colleagues from Oldham, Salford and Bury have become CHI Fellows in Healthcare Innovation and Leadership.

The fellowship is awarded by the Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) Singapore and the NCA worked in partnership with CHI to develop it.

Because of the pandemic, the NCA cohort was not able to travel to Singapore, however, they were still able to take part in the fellowship virtually along with the Singapore based participants, who also visited the Care Organisation sites virtually.

Nicky Clarke, Chief of People at the NCA said: “I am so proud of these six colleagues and everything they have achieved as part of this cutting-edge CHI Fellowship.

“Innovation is very important to us at the NCA and is a key part of sustainable healthcare. It is also a great privilege for my colleagues to be able to share knowledge and learn together with other healthcare leaders working in Singapore and beyond.”
