Meavy View resident Jess is celebrating her 100th birthday on 30 March
A local retirement home is appealing for birthday cards for one of its oldest residents, who will turn 100 later this month.
Meavy View on Milkstone Road is aiming for its resident – known only as ‘Jess’ – to receive 100 birthday cards for her centenary birthday on 30 March.
Katrice Berry said: “We are trying to get 100 cards for Jess’ special day. We have received 13 so far, so thank you to those who have already sent one.”
