Ukraine fundraiser to be held at Falinge Park this weekend

A fundraising event for Ukraine will be held at Falinge Park this Saturday (12 March).
Iryna Lisnyj, a director of Community Development Trust Vintage Worx, and local Councillor Rachel Massey will be hosting the event between 11am and 2pm.
There will be a charity car wash with help from green volunteers and Hamer Amateur Boxing Club, plus a bake sale by Vintage Worx and the Ukraine Club. Handmade Loom bracelets, made by a local young girl will also be on sale.
Uniform for All will also partner the event, providing grab bags for £2 each to help raise funds.
Tracie Powers, of Vintage Worx, said: “We have worked alongside the Ukraine community on many occasions and been grateful for their support more times than I can mention.
“Like everyone, we have been horrified by the events over the last few days. We just want to do whatever we can to help.”
