Two arrested following knifepoint carjacking in Rochdale

Police were flagged down on Kingsway, Rochdale to a report of a knifepoint carjacking
A man and a woman have been arrested after a knifepoint carjacking at Kingsway, Rochdale, on Monday night (28 February).
Just before 11pm, police were flagged down on Kingsway, Rochdale to a report of a knifepoint carjacking.
Enquiries soon established the victim had been threatened with a knife and told to get out of his vehicle.
When he did so, the offenders - a male and a female - fled the scene in his vehicle.
The vehicle was later pursued by officers before the occupants decamped and attempted to flee on foot.
They were soon detained close to Manchester Road and Hareshill Road in Heywood. Both were arrested on suspicion of robbery and remain in custody for questioning.
Enquiries are ongoing.
