All4Youth community group visit activity centre in Doncaster

Date published: 27 February 2022

Local community group All4Youth, which aims to take youths off the streets and into a place of safety, recently took over 20 young people on a trip to the Kingswood Dearne Valley Activity Centre in Doncaster.

The trip enabled the youngsters to gain confidence, team leading skills, communication and learning life skills, as well as overcome their fears by taking part in activities like zip wire, ‘leap of faith’, mini Olympics, Laser Quest and problem-solving tasks.

The trip, supported by Action Together Rochdale, was joined by multi-faith inspired singer Ismail Hussain, and police officer Mohammed Farhan.

The group were also taught about the dangers of drugs and knife crime, as well as the importance of mental health.

Hassan Ali, founder of All4Youth, said it was “overwhelming” to see the young people get involved and receive “amazing” feedback from their parents.

Based in Rochdale, All4Youth also provides support and guidance to those suffering from mental health issues, drug/alcohol addiction, bullying, depression, anxiety, and more. The organisation also raises awareness of what older generations should look out for and how they can support the younger generation.
