Virgin Care, which has run The Sexual Health Hub in Oldham, Bury and Rochdale for several years, has been rebranded to HCRG Care Group.
Both its website and face-to-face services will use the new brand but there are no changes to opening times, services or locations – and staff in the services remain the same too.
Debra Adams, General Manager of Integrated Sexual Health Services at HCRG Care Group, said: “Our services, which we deliver on behalf of local authorities, will continue to enable people to self-manage their sexual health and improve access to a comprehensive range of sexual health services and information such as emergency contraception, STI testing and condoms.”
Services available at sexual health clinics in the Rochdale borough include:
- Counselling and advice
- Contraception (all types)
- Emergency contraception (emergency contraceptive pills and the emergency IUD)
- Screening and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including people living with HIV
- Express testing
- Hepatitis B vaccinations
- Pregnancy testing
- Coil and implant fitting and removal
- Support with making a referral for termination of pregnancy
