Officers from GMP's Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force and Rochdale Neighbourhood Team supported by Tactical Aid Unit executed warrants at three addresses in the Littleborough area
Officers from GMP's Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force and Rochdale Neighbourhood Team executed warrants this morning (23 February) at three addresses in the Littleborough area and arrested three men.
The men, aged between 18 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal motor vehicles and burglary and currently remain in custody for questioning.
The warrants form part of an investigation into recent burglaries and motor vehicles thefts, in which high valued vehicles have been targeted and taken in the Littleborough, Rochdale and Oldham areas.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
Police Sergeant Andy Toward of GMP's Rochdale Neighbourhood Task Force said: "Burglary is an incredibly invasive and distressing crime to those who unfortunately fall victim to it and GMP is committed to driving down burglaries within our communities.
"Although our work will continue to fulfil this commitment I would encourage anyone who may have information or suspect someone in their area is involved in burglaries to get in touch with police. Intelligence we receive from the public can often greatly assist our investigations."
"Anyone with information about burglaries or anything suspicious can call 101, report it online or by using our LiveChat service at www.gmp.police.uk."
Each Greater Manchester district is committed to attending every burglary report we receive to drive down this appalling and ruinous crime as part of #OpCastle.
