Man, 37, stabbed multiple times in fight outside Middleton pub

A man has been left needing surgery after he was stabbed multiple times outside a Middleton pub.

Police were called just after 1pm on Sunday 20 February to a report of a stabbing at a pub on Kemp Street, Middleton.

Emergency services attended and enquiries established a 37-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times during an altercation outside the pub.

He was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition requiring surgery.

Jordan Darcy, 22, of Middleton has been charged in connection with the incident.

He has been charged with Section 18 assault - wounding with intent and has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on 22 February.
