Dog Reserve
A local dog training school, On Track Dog Training, has opened a new 'dog park' and started a voluntary group to form a constitution for what is now known as 'Pennine Community Dog Reserves' The group will manage the reserve, applying for funding to build paths, plant a native hedge and landscape the area to provide training/exercise areas.
The owner of On Track Dog Training, Cath Phillips, said: "Many thanks to all those who helped get this project off the ground and continue to give their support. This will be the first reserve of its kind and we could become just a little famous!"
New members are always welcome. The school prides itself on creating a friendly environment for people to share the pleasures of dog ownership with other like-minded people. No matter how inexperienced owners are there will always be experienced people on hand to help with training.
