16 and 17 year olds in the borough can now receive Pfizer Covid jab

Date published: 01 July 2021

The Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine is now available to 16 and 17 year olds in the Rochdale borough.

Additionally, second doses of Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines are also on offer at drop-in clinics across the borough to those who had their first dose more than four weeks ago.

If you're aged 16 or over and not got an existing appointment you can drop into one of the extra vaccine clinics for your jab. You do not need an appointment to attend any of the vaccine clinics.

To get a job at one of the drop-in clinics you must be registered with a GP in the borough of Rochdale.

Those attending the drop-in clinics should bring their NHS number if possible, which can be found on the NHS website or a recent NHS letter.

If you're attending your second vaccine, it's important you bring your first dose vaccination card with you.

If you are unsure if you are eligible then you are encouraged to attend a clinic and the staff will be able to advise. If you want to get your vaccine at one of the drop-in clinics.
