A large group of youths flouting lockdown rules was dispersed from Heywood Sports Village on Friday night (26 March).
One arrest was made, and multiple anti-social behaviour warnings will be issued, police said.
Around 50 youths were dispersed by the Heywood branch of GMP after the youths “were acting in an anti-social manner” which was “not acceptable” given coronavirus restrictions.
Although outdoor gatherings are allowed from today (Monday 29 March), this is restricted to a maximum of six people, or two households, which can meet in public spaces and private gardens.
Larger groups are still restricted.
Police added: “If youths are found breaching Covid-19 regulations, the responsibility of paying their fine will be on their parents. Please stay at home and stay safe.”
