Panto Cast in town for Christmas festivities

Date published: 10 November 2007

Members of the Dick Whittington Pantomime Cast will be in town on Saturday 17 November to be part of Middleton’s Christmas Lights Switch On festivities and the arrival of Father Christmas.

In association with Middleton Shopping Centre, appearing on the Tower FM stage will be international comedian, Mark Lancaster, this year playing Idle Jack, with appearances from singer and actress Sarah Shepherd, playing show ‘Baddy’ Queen Ratella, and the multi-talented Catherine Breeze as show ‘Goody’ Fairy Beaux Belles. They will be accompanied by some of the young dancers from Middleton’s Anita Tymcyshyn Dance School and Tommy the Cat for a taster of panto fun.

There will also be fun competitions and the chance to pick up a special ‘Buy one get one free’ offer for Panto tickets on the day.

Don’t miss them in the town centre from 12.30pm-1.30pm. There’ll be lots of music, fun and games – and audience participation.

Dick Whittington and his Wonderful Cat will be at Middleton Civic Centre from 4 - 24 December. The show is booking now on 0161 643 2389 with a great value family ticket of £34 for two adults and two children.
