Woman in her 20s taken to hospital after Drake Street collision

A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital with head, neck and back injuries after a collision on Drake Street in Rochdale yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Thursday (30 January) at 3.40pm, to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The North West Ambulance Service confirmed a rapid response vehicle, a road ambulance and an air ambulance attended the incident.

A spokesperson for the service said: “The patient was taken to Salford Royal by road ambulance.”

Greater Manchester Police has been contacted for comment.
