Members of the community were brought together at the annual Freehold Tenants and Residents Association Christmas event on 22 December 2019.
The event at Castlemere Banqueting Hall was well-attended, including local councillors Allen Brett, Sameena Zaheer and Mohammed Zaman, who spoke about the importance of community cohesion and unity.
This free event included an appearance from Father Christmas in his grotto, DJ, stalls, free refreshments and presents for children.
Funding for the event was secured by the Freehold Tenants and Residents Association and organised by the Freehold Community Group.
One of the stall holders, Hadiya, said: “Very good turn out and such a wonderful event. Thank you, Freehold Community Group, for organising this.”
A representative from the Freehold Community Group added: “Thank you to all the volunteers and staff for making this event a huge success.”
