Rabbits and guinea pigs are at risk of being stolen, local police officers are warning.
Thefts have reportedly taken place since October in Milnrow, Kingsway, Firgrove, Queensway, and Spotland.
A spokesperson for GMP Rochdale said: “We have had a number of thefts in the Rochdale area of rabbits and guinea pigs.
“Please ensure your hutch is secure via a padlock and, where possible, secure garden gates.”
Investigations into these thefts are ongoing.
