Sunshine children celebrating Christmas festivities

Date published: 23 December 2019

The children of Sunshine Preschool in Deeplish have recently been enjoying all the Christmas festivities.

They started by visiting their local church, St Luke’s Church, where they played a game of pass the parcel and listened to the nativity story, and also had their Christmas party, where they were visited by Father Christmas who gave them all with presents.

The children also spent time making Christmas cards and calendars to give to family and friends as they have been learning about giving to others at this time of year.

Shabina Kauser, Sunshine Preschool Manage said: “We are pleased to see all children participating and learning about our cultures, community and faith values.

“We are proud to see our children engaging, developing and growing in a cohesive and diverse culture.

“We wish everyone a happy peaceful and safe time during the Christmas festivities.”
