“On behalf of the Wardleworth Community Centre judging panel, I would like to congratulate all the nominees and in particular, the winners. The calibre of nominations was very high, and the judging panel had a very difficult time choosing one winner for each category, which goes to show the level of work being undertaken across central Rochdale.
“I would like to use this wonderful opportunity to thank all our schools, board members and our teachers for creating a distinct path for the students to follow. I would also like to extend special thanks to all the parents, guests, and our sole sponsor Hot Chilli for joining, us and making this occasion a huge success.
“We hope that they will continue their excellent work, and this will inspire others to develop and deliver more effective, innovative and responsive services.”
Wardleworth Community Centre Association, a local charity which works in the central ward of Rochdale, launched its first community awards this year to honour those give up their time, energy, and skills to do that little bit extra for everyone’s benefit, as well as those who have performed exceptionally well in their studies and extra-curricular activities.
