Community Christmas tree lights up Norden Jubilee Park

Date published: 19 December 2019

This year’s colourful Christmas tree in Norden Jubilee Park has been sponsored by the Norden community.

A decorated Christmas tree for local residents and passing public to enjoy has been installed at the park for four years by the local ‘Friends of’ group.

The tree has been sponsored by Streetwise Magazines, Norden Bowling & Social Club, The Bridge Chippy, Norden, Emma Metcalfe, Rochdale In Bloom and Marl Pits Garden Centre.

Paul Ellison, Chairman of Friends of Norden Jubilee Park, said: “Yet again another community Christmas tree lights up Norden, and it's great to see local businesses and people come together to fund this festive tree.

“The community coming together at this time of year to bring joy to so many people truly embodies the real Christmas spirit.”
