Appeal to reunite cherished war medals with family of late John O’Donnell

Rebecca Holmes from Northamptonshire is trying to find the family of her late mother’s partner, John O’Donnell from Rochdale.

John O’Donnell moved from Rochdale to Walsall in the late 1990s, then moved back to his hometown towards the end of 2010, just before he sadly died in November 2010.

Ms Holmes has some possessions that she feels should be reunited with the O’Donnell family, such as war medals and fire service medals. John O’Donnell was a member of Rochdale fire service for 20 years of his life.

It is believed that he has two daughters, Shirley and Lynne, and a granddaughter named Jeannette.

Ms Holmes’ late mother was John O’Donnell’s partner for a number of years before his death. They lived in Walsall together.
