Man receives head injury after an incident on Ramsay Street

A man in his late 20’s has received a serious head injury after an incident on Ramsay Street, Rochdale, on Monday night (28 October).
The man was found by a member of the public in a nearby alleyway with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital after the North West Ambulance Service attended the scene shortly after 9pm with the Hazardous Area Response Team, three rapid response vehicles, an ambulance and an operational commander.
He has since been discharged.
A spokesperson for the police said: “Initial enquires suggest the man had been assaulted.
“No arrests have been made and enquiries are still ongoing.”
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “We were called at 9.16pm on Monday.
“We attended with our Hazardous Area Response Team as well as three rapid response vehicles, an ambulance and an operational commander.
“A man in his late 20’s was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.”
