Rochdale Literature & Ideas Festival – various venues in Rochdale until Monday 21 October

This annual festival aims to encourage people to engage with books and ideas by hosting various events with the likes of authors, poets, broadcasters and performers.

Littleborough Arts Festival 2019 – Various places around Littleborough, Fri 18 October – Sunday 20 October

Each year, the town is invited to participate in a rich and varied programme of activities including visual art, music, poetry, participatory workshops and fun.
