Dog dies in Whitworth caravan fire

A dog has been killed in a caravan fire in Whitworth on Monday (23 September).
Four fire engines from Bacup, Rawtenstall and Rochdale were called to a fire involving a static caravan on High Barn Lane, near Cowm Reservoir in Whitworth.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they found that the fire had spread to a shipping container and propane cylinders were involved in the fire.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
