Man and woman stabbed in flat in Middleton

A man and a woman were taken to hospital after they were both stabbed in a flat in Middleton on Monday (23 September).
Shortly after 9am on Monday 23 September 2019, police received a report that a man and a woman had been injured in a property in Parkfield flats.
The woman sustained a minor cut to her arm and the man sustained a number of minor wounds to his head and body.
Both were taken to hospital for treatment; however, neither is believed to have suffered life threatening injuries.
A 36-year-old man was arrested shortly after 10am on suspicion of section 18 assault. He remains in custody for questioning.
