New Greater Manchester bishops revealed before lift-off in glass elevator

On 10 March Downing Street will make public who the next Bishop of Middleton and Bishop of Bolton will be. The new Bishops will be revealed in Manchester Cathedral before riding in the giant glass elevator for a roof-top view of the Diocese in which they will serve.
The Bishop of Manchester will be present as will the bishop designates, their families and about 40 well-wishers. There will be time for interviews. Following the ‘unveiling’ the Bishop of Manchester will take the new bishop designates and their families over to URBIS for a ride in the lift to the top floor and a view of the surrounding area.
