A man has been arrested after a robbery in which a man was hit over the head with a baseball bat in Rochdale.
Shortly after 10.50pm on Saturday 3 November 2018, a man was approached by three men on Leamington Street before he was hit across the head with a baseball bat. The offenders made off with the victim's car, a Ford Fiesta ST.
The victim, a 58-year-old man, suffered a serious head injury and required hospital treatment.

Today (Thursday 15 August 2019) officers arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Constable Matthew Adshead said: “I would like to thank everyone who has come forward to police with information following our most recent appeal.
“This morning, we have made an arrest, but our enquiries are very much ongoing.
“If you haven’t yet come forward to police and you think you might have information to assist our investigation, then please call us on 0161 856 8978.”
