National Friendship Day party at Stamford House

Date published: 02 August 2019

Stamford House held a National Friendship Day party on Wednesday 31 July.

Roxanne Sharp, events and activities coordinator at Stamford House Rest Home said: “We invited the child-minded children from Patricia's Childminding and two special guests Len and Rachel from Rosemary Care Home in Milnrow.

“We enjoyed singing, dancing, crafts and we had a special story time about friends.

“Last week our residents spent time making celebration cards to give to the children and our guests to thank them for visiting us.

“We had a teddy bears picnic indoors as the weather wasn't great.

“All of our residents and staff had a fantastic time and we are grateful we have amazing friends who come to visit us.

“It was nice to make connections with another home within the area and can't wait for them to visit again.

“We look forward to our next event which will be held in August for the Bank Holiday celebrations.”
