Cyclist airlifted to hospital with serious injuries

A cyclist has been airlifted to hospital after receiving serious injuries following a collision in Littleborough on Monday (29 July) evening.
The woman, 56, was airlifted to Royal Preston Hospital after a collision with a black Seat Ibiza on Dean Head.
The ambulance service confirmed they attended the incident shortly after 7.15pm with an air ambulance, road ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.
The occupants of the Ibiza were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug and the driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
