Owner Gemma Singleton said: “We’ve never really done that many competitions as we do two exams a year, plus the panto at Gracie Fields Theatre, and our annual show there.
“This year, we decided to do some for the experience, and everyone has done fantastically well.
“I’m quite lucky in that I get to choreograph the dances, and see the moves brought to life by our dancers.”
Singletons Dance Academy was set up in 2006 by Gemma, and provides ballet, tap, modern jazz, theatre craft, street jazz, singing, drama and comp dances for all ages.
A former pupil, Abbie Holt, was awarded a scholarship last summer to The Hammond, a prestigious performing arts school in Chester, after 12 years of performing with Singleton’s Dance Academy.
