Win £50 of High Street shopping vouchers

Date published: 13 August 2008

The Kingsway Business Park is out on the road this summer and a prize draw of £50 of high street shopping vouchers will take place every day of the tour. All you have to do is play the fun “Lucky Duck” game and you can enter the prize draw.*

The Roadshow event is part of the Kingsway Partnership’s community engagement plans; they want to let you know all about the opportunities that will be available to residents across the borough in the form of free training, job opportunities, improved transport and increased investment in the local economy.

The Partnership wants to ensure that the maximum number of Rochdale Borough residents can take advantage of these opportunities and are out on the road to spread the word.

They are, however, spreading the word in a rather unusual way. Each event will have a funfair style 'hook-a-duck' stand, when a Kingsway related multiple choice question will be generated with every successful duck 'hooked', you don’t have to get the question correct to enter the prize draw, you just have to have a go!

The Lucky Duck Stand will be out on the road and available to play at the following locations:

  • Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre Tuesday 26 August 9am to 5:30pm
  • Middleton Shopping Centre Wednesday 27 August 9am to 5:30pm
  • Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre Thursday 28 August 10.30am to 4pm
  • Morrisons at Heywood Friday 29 August 11am to 5.30pm

There will be members of the Kingsway Team on hand to answer questions on the free training, job opportunities that will be available and the transport plans which will ensure local people can access the jobs on the Business Park with ease.

*One entry only per person for the Prize draw
