Man stabbed: offenders charged

A 21-year-old man has been stabbed twice in the back.
Shortly after 1am on Saturday 9 August 2008, police were called to Curzon Road, Rochdale following reports of fighting.
Officers attended and found the injured man. He was taken to hospital with a punctured lung but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
A man and a boy have been charged in relation to this incident.
Tabreaz Ali (born 06/08/1980) of Deeplish Road, Rochdale has been charged with Section 18 assault.
A 16-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with Section 18 assault.
Both appeared before Rochdale Magistrates Court on Monday 11 August 2008 and were granted conditional bail.
