Hopwood Hall College makes Sunday Times top 100 organisations

Hopwood Hall College's HR team at the Sunday Times Top 100 Awards

Hopwood Hall College has been ranked as the 68th ‘Best Not-For-Profit Organisation’ in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Employers awards.

The Rochdale and Middleton-based further education college broke into the prestigious list after being recognised for their support of staff, internal health and wellbeing activities and extensive community and charity events. 87% of the College’s staff gave their employer a positive score to The Sunday Times.

Furthermore, the college was the only Rochdale based organisation to make the Top 100 and one of only three not-for-profits based in Greater Manchester.

Only two other education establishments in the whole of the UK made the list and only seven not-for-profit organisations bettered Hopwood Hall College’s charitable achievements.

The award was collected at the Battersea Power Station gala by the College’s HR team; Martyn Hardy (HR Manager), Lauren Turner (HR Advisor), Julie Burns (Payroll & Pensions Officer), Liz Holloway (HR & Payroll Assistant), Caitlin Jones (HR Apprentice) and Luke Webster (HR Assistant).
