Rochdale & District Fusiliers Association Ladies Night
Members, ladies and guests attended the Rochdale & District Fusiliers Association Ladies Night, on Saturday 23 February.
The evening was attended by the Mayor and Mayoress Mohammed Zaman and Naaira Zaman.
After dinner, the Reverend Margaret Smith gave a short speech in which she spoke passionately about her journey from nursing to the ministry.
The evening was rounded off by entertainment provided by Neil Hamilton.
John Rodgers, Vice President & Vice Chairman of the Rochdale & District Fusiliers Associated said: “It was great to see so many attending and we are especially pleased that the Mayor and Mayoress were both able to attend.
“I would especially like to thank H Bell & Sons (Rochdale) for sponsoring the sherry reception and the port.
“We now look forward to having our Minden Ball in July this year.”
