Collision on Newhey Road causes jams

A collision near the Free Trade Tavern blocked Newhey Road for several hours on Monday afternoon (28 January).
Police were called at 3.49pm to the collision between a silver Vauxhall and a white Iveco van on Newhey Road, which blocked the road, causing gridlocked traffic across Rochdale.
No injuries were reported.
