Royle Road and surrounding streets hit by power cut

The Green, Castleton is one of the streets affected by the power cut
Residents and businesses on and around Royle Road in Castleton have been left without electricity following a power cut on Friday afternoon (25 January).
Approximately 30 properties have been affected by the power cut, which was reported at 4.40pm.
Electricity North West estimates the power to be restored at around 10.40pm tonight and has dispatched an engineer to site.
Affected postcodes include:
OL11 3DT, OL11 3ET, OL11 3EX, OL11 3HA, OL11 3NT, OL11 3NU
UPDATE:
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: "I’m pleased to say our engineers were able to located the original problem, a fault on one of our cables, and we’ve been able to carry out a permanent repair on the affected cable this morning (30 January)."
