Deep tyre marks left in the grass from cars using the street to turn around
Railings and bollards are to be installed at a cul-de-sac in Cutgate to prevent damage from cars, following complaints from residents.
Deep tyre marks have been left on the grass banking at Meadow View from vehicles using the area to turn around at all hours of the day.
A spokesman for Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, which owns the land, said: “RBH was only recently made aware of this issue and remedial action is being taken.
“The site was visited earlier this week and work is now planned to install low railings and bollards to prevent this from happening in future.”
