Date published: 18 January 2019
Snow expected on high ground today
Hill snow could cause travel disruption today, Friday 18 January in the afternoon and evening.
On lower levels it will be mostly cloudy Friday evening, with some further patchy rain and hill snow, but this will tend to fizzle out especially after midnight. Some mist and fog will form and it will be a chilly night.
Saturday will be a mainly dry and chilly day, but generally cloudy with a little drizzle possible at times. There could be some mist and hill fog lingering all day.
Sunday will be mostly dry with bright spells but turning cloudier from the north west for a time in the evening with patchy rain before becoming dry and cold overnight.
Monday is then expected to be dry and bright but chilly and turning windier on Monday night with a mix of rain and snow spreading from the north west. Rain and snow clearing on Tuesday to leave it drier later on.
