Police seize Ukrainian money and watches

Police are trying to reunite items recovered in a burglary investigation with their owners.
During a property search yesterday (Sunday 6 January 2019) officers seized some Ukrainian money, pound notes, bracelet and two watches.
GMP Pennine spokesperson said: “A male was detained and questioned yesterday in relation to a number of burglaries in the Littleborough and Milnrow areas.
“A house search was conducted, and a number of items were seized which we believe may have been taken during other burglaries or thefts."
Officers from the Pennine Neighbourhood Team are now looking to find the owners of the distinctive items.

- Silver-coloured Seiko bracelet wrist watch with gold features
- 90 Ukrainian hryvnia (currency)
- 4 British Sterling pound notes
- Various currency coins from around the world
