Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man from Rochdale

Two men have been charged with murder following the death of a man in Uppermill following an incident which took place on High Street on Friday 21 December 2018.

Police were called shortly after 11:30pm on Friday 21 December 2018 to reports that a man had collapsed with head injuries. He has since been formally identified as Daniel Hogan. Daniel was originally from Rochdale but had recently been living in Saddleworth.

Emergency services attended and administered first aid to the man before he was rushed to hospital, where he sadly died a short time later.

Daniel Forster (05/07/1994), of Springhead and Michael Milligan Nield (27/01/1994), of Shaw have both been charged with the murder of 34-year-old Daniel Hogan.

They have been remanded to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court tomorrow, Monday 24 December 2018.
