Friendship morning Christmas party at Stamford House Rest Home

Date published: 21 December 2018

Stamford House had their friendship morning Christmas party with special visitors from Patricia and Mandi’s childminding earlier this week.

Patricia's Childminding and Mandi's Childminding brought the children in for a Christmas party morning, looking fab in their Christmas jumpers and Santa hats.

They all enjoyed story time with the book 'All I Want for Christmas', singing Christmas carols and jingling bells.

Fun party games were played, and edible Christmas trees made for the children to enjoy as their snack before special eco-friendly reindeer food was made for the children to take away and sprinkle on Christmas Eve.

A representative from Stamford House said: “The residents and children had such fun: it's nice to see everyone enjoying in and making new friendships with the children.

“We finished off the session with a little gift from the staff and residents for the children to take home to say thank you for taking the time each month to come and visit us.

“We look forward to our next friendship morning in the New year which is the theme of 'winter' where we will enjoy some winter crafts and have a hot chocolate station to warm us up.”
