Two people were taken to hospital after they were cut free following the collision
Two people were taken to hospital after they were cut free following a collision near the Rochdale Infirmary on Tuesday (18 December).
The casualties had to be cut from the vehicles before being taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary.
Two fire crews attended the two-car collision at the mini-roundabout of Howard Street and Whitehall Street shortly before 11.45am.
A dangerous building officer also attended the scene, due to the location of the collision.
Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
