Kirkholt man in court for gun possession

A 36-year-old man from Kirkholt has been charged after a large quantity of drugs, a firearm and 47 rounds of ammunition were found in his home by police.
Shortly after 1.40pm last Friday (1 August), officers executed a warrant at an address on Curzon Road, Kirkholt and Mark Sindrey was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition, possession of class A drugs with intent to supply and possession of cannabis.
He is due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court today (Monday 4 August).
