Christmas message from Mayor Mohammed Zaman
Date published: 25 December 2018
Mayor Mohammed Zaman
Over the past six months, I have attended many engagements and organised visits to individuals, community groups and businesses around the borough.
Every engagement has been eye opening for me, and I am proud to have witnessed the diversity within Rochdale and the hard work that all four townships put in to making our borough a great place to live.
Everyone makes great contributions to their community in various capacities.
I have lived in Rochdale all of my life and as the Mayor this year, I have been privileged to visit and experience all the areas of Rochdale and I really appreciate all the work, especially voluntary, that people are doing to help others and present a positive image of our town.
For the festive season, I want to thank those who make a great contribution to putting Rochdale on the map in a positive light.
Sending best wishes to all over this season and in the New Year, I hope Rochdale has a very Merry Christmas.
