Olivia Bell donated 14 inches of her long hair to charity, raising £270 in the process
13-year-old Olivia Bell, from Littleborough, has raised £270 for The Little Princess Trust charity after cutting her hair on Saturday (1 December).
The Hollingworth Academy pupil pledged a minimum of 10 inches and donated an impressive 14 inches after the chop at Alicia Moore's House of Hair in Milnrow.
The Little Princess Trust supplies real-hair wigs for children with conditions that result in hair loss, such as alopecia or chemotherapy. 120g of hair is required for each wig, which is approximately five to seven donations.
A minimum donation of seven inches is required.
