Break-in at Newhey butcher

A butcher’s shop in Newhey has been broken into, late on Sunday evening (25 November).
Thieves broke into Newhey Butchers & Sandwich Shop on Shaw Road, between 10pm and 11pm that night, smashing the front door and making off with some cash.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed: “This was reported to us shortly before 11pm on Sunday.
“Offenders smashed the front door and stole a quantity of money.”
