Kingsway Park students and staff dress up for Children in Need
Kingsway Park High School students and staff, joined in the fundraising for Children in Need on Friday.
Students and staff donated a minimum of £1.00 for the non-uniform day.
During break a cake sale was held in the hall, with one special cake donated and made by a parent.
Mrs E Barnes, organiser of the Children in Need fundraising at the school said: ‘’We are extremely grateful for this donation as the parent always makes a real big effort in making sure we have something extra special for our Children In Need Cake Sale.’’
The afternoon finished off with the Children in Need Duck Race.
Mrs E Barnes said: “In total we have so far raised £1121.97 and are still counting.
“A brilliant amount raised, beating last year’s total. Many, many thanks to all those who have contributed.”
