Cllr. John Taylor, Wardle and West Littleborough
Following the exercise was carried out by police with the support of the Roads Policing Unit along Halifax Road Cllr. John Taylor, Wardle and West Littleborough said: “I was delighted to hear about the recent policing operation on the A58 Halifax Road and what a resounding success it has been.
“I have made many calls for more visible and robust protection on our highways and I do believe the much-needed response has been excellent.
“The police action has been well received by our community too and this intervention should be a stark warning to those individual’s intent on using our highways in a dangerous way.
“I for one want to say thank you to our policing team for all their hard work.”
