Springhill Hospice Christmas Fair 2018

Date published: 12 November 2018

Springhill Hospice has a bigger and better seasonal treat in store for supporters old and new at this year's Christmas Fair. Sunday 25 November will see the grounds of the Broad Lane Hospice transformed once into a Winter Wonderland, the like of which visitors have never seen before.

Rebekah Cheshire, Springhill's Events and Campaigns Fundraiser said: "Each year, at the end of November, we open the doors of the Hospice and welcome hundreds of supporters and visitors to sample the delights of our Christmas Fair.  It's one of most popular events in our calendar and a must for all seasonal shoppers.

"The popularity of our fair grows every year and to be able to offer visitors more by increasing what's on offer would be impossible. But this we've once again made a huge change to enable more people to take advantage of this fabulous day out."

This year Springhill's Christmas extravaganza will still be at the Hospice but once again will be housed in a huge, heated, winter wonderland marquee. In addition, Day Hospice will be transformed into a food court so people can enjoy a leisurely festive bite to eat in spacious comfort, along with outdoor stalls and, of course, an opportunity to visit Santa's Grotto.

With opening times of 11.00am until 4.00pm visitors will be able to able to browse stalls selling everything from cards to candles, baubles to chocolates and jewellery to jigsaws. The Fair will showcase favourites from last year plus new stalls, all offering Christmas gifts galore, tombolas, crafts, raffles, games and toys.

There is a free Park & Ride from Gordon Rigg, Kingsway.
