Siddal Moor celebrates 50th anniversary this month

Date published: 05 November 2018

Siddal Moor High School will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday 17 November 2018.

Past governors, colleagues and pupils are invited to staff in a morning of celebration the school from 10am to 12 noon.

The Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Mohammed Zaman, will be unveiling a plaque to mark the momentous occasion and a group of history pupils will be displaying a time capsule project that they have put together.

Take a trip down memory lane with a 'Past, Present and Future Exhibition' including displays of photographs, trophies and other memorabilia.

Light refreshments will be served throughout the morning, plus performances from some current pupils.

There will also be an opportunity to tour the school, for those who 'moved on' prior to the 2012 opening of the new build.

Numbers are limited so please reply in the first instance if you are a past governor, colleague or pupil and would like to attend this celebration.

Items of memorabilia you would like to bring are encouraged.

Siddal Moor looks forward to welcoming you back, so if you would like to attend please telephone 01706 369436.

Alternatively, please email 50th@siddalmoor.uk
